Jan and Ad together form the new Board of Directors of a healthcare institution with 25 nursing homes after merging both their former organizations. They wanted a coaching process to be more and better aligned with the rest of the organization. The differences of opinion still led to too much ‘island behavior’ in the workplace.
About leadership development
"Even though I initially thought of Personal Leadership as soft and blurry, I have been strongly encouraged to take action. Due to the direct and critical questions, which was very confronting, but very necessary, I have been able to erase a number of blind spots I had within myself. The atmosphere in which this took place was nice, business-like and personal in nature. This, together with the results that also others around me noticed, I highly recommend!"Eelco, Manager Risk Management Systems at a large Dutch bank, participated in a Management Development project with a focus on personal leadership.
"We got to know each other better as a person, and as a colleague. The coaching has led to many more exchanges on a human level. We now understand each other better, and feel more trust. We are more open and we dare to share more with each other, also matters we are uncertain about. Most importantly, we can now express our criticism towards each other more easily, and we have the confidence that we can handle any conflict together. We operate more as one team inwards and outwards. Within our collaboration there is room for diversity and the experience thereof, while we still appear as a unity. All this while retaining a lot of humor and fun."Jan and Ad together form the new Board of Directors of a healthcare institution with 25 nursing homes.
